Yes, there's a lot of evidence that building a hybrid does more damage to the earth than most cars of similar fuel economy. Much of this revolves around the fact that the heavy metals in the batteries are highly toxic and are extracted from the earth via strip-mining.

Evil bug-eye incarnate.

OOOhhh! Resourceful choice!

Really? Someone felt the need to torch a Miata? when there are so many Ranger Rovers in London? What is the matter with these people???

Every time I see the Miata get street cred it brings a happy little tear to my eye.

As tragic as this may be, who would actually drive a seven-figure car outside of their own personal museum?

I'm just gonna go ahead and be that jerk who ups the bids to $25

If only Australia more closely resembled a toilet I'd be in complete agreement with you.

THANK YOU!

I remember as a kid thinking that wheels on the Reatta looked HUGE, and really, really cool on an otherwise bland car. Funny, optional stock wheels on even the smallest cars today would dwarf those 16"s.

The answer is always "Miata".

While I firmly believe that the best slow car to drive fast will always be the Miata, that doesn't account for practicality.

Well, my name is Whitey McWhiterson, and I come from a long line of McWhitersons who perportedly decended from the sinister de Pigmente tribe, known for their square edges, twangy musical traditions and legendary repression skills.

Although I do love that locomotive. Very cool.

I'm talkign about all of it. An artistic statement about the pace and congestion of modern life, expressed by what, in the movie, was displayed as fast motion, but in this installation, is super-fast based on it's tiny scale.

Koyaanisqatsi, HO-Scale.

Here, hold my beer a second...
