I’ve never been out with my friends to a group dinner where we didn’t all just get our own checks. We make sure to let the server know right at the beginning and everything tends to go pretty smoothly from there.

It works for us, because my group has professors and lawyers and then one or two of us works above minimum

Gee, a woman hiding her true identity from the internet, for fear of backlash? I am ever so surprised.

Jesus fucking christ there was no way she could have come out ahead on this. If she had her identity out in the open, she would have been harassed anyway.

Men suck.

I AM SO HYPED

Seriously, I can’t wait to play this. And read the comic.

Husband and I have our 10 year this year and we’re still on the fence about going. On one hand, Facebook has made it easy to keep up with everyone we actually gave a shit about in high school, so... why go? We live in small town Maine and a lot of the class DID stay around.

On the other hand, he and I were notorious

Are there any good resources for actually LEARNING Smash? I feel like the game itself does a crap job teaching you how to play, and I haven’t seen many tutorials for the new game yet.

They’re my guilty pleasure. It’s good summer driving music. I definitely sent my dad their new album for Christmas.

“And sometimes that means avoiding internationally bestselling series because it’s too unfathomable to imagine 50 years of mutual infatuation where neither party ever even considers the possibility that they might just fuck it out and move on with the damn thing.”

I’ll drink yours for you! I just cut out alcohol for awhile and tea is the only thing getting me through.

They had to, because censors dictated that they had to have a “moral” ending (read: straight or dead) to be published.

There’s a pretty decent YA book called “Pulp” that just came out that goes into the history of lesbian pulp fiction. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about the genre.

Also there was a Big Gay Kiss and my family started clutching their pearls.

I live in Maine, and we’re due for a bit of snow tomorrow. My husband and I are so excited to just sit on the couch and play this and drink beer and eat nachos tomorrow. When we first started dating a million years ago, we found out we both loved Pokemon and owned complimentary games (I had Red, he had Blue, etc). It

I’m just next to Bangor and the lines are RIDICULOUS. Praying this gets Poliquin out of office, but I haven’t heard anything about turnout in the County yet

I live in a large city in Maine (or as large as a Maine city might get) and everyone I know is just.. devastated. Not surprised. None of us are surprised.

But fucking a. We still all feel so betrayed. Yesterday a group of city councilors and politicians from Maine- all women- flew to DC to try and meet with Senator

...does this mean we’re not getting TLOU2 next year?

As someone who lives in Maine- THANK. YOU. This is what she always, ALWAYS does. She hems and haws and makes you think that maybe, MAYBE, this time she’ll listen. This time she’ll do the right thing.

And then at last fucking second she’ll vote with her pocketbook.

No one here trusts her. No one. Not anymore.

And if you've some how managed to not hear about it yet, Honey Heist is a GREAT intro to "heists" in general... Plus you're playing as bears in hats.

My parents got divorced a few years ago, and about 10 months after the divorce was finalized, we found out my mom had remarried... To my dad’s youngest brother

Take your damn star

I’m so gutted to see Mistakes leave Boston. He was my absolute favorite player on my home team.

If he ends up on Shanhai with Geguri, I’m totally switching teams.

I was genuinely blown away when I went to Gencon this year and there was no security. I usually go to Pax East, when bag check lines are expected and long. I thought I would be relieved to not have to wait to get into the con, but honestly I was unsettled.
