I was actually trying to say what you just said... the media is going to jump on the fact that he’s bipolar, not that he’s a sexist asshole who HAPPENS to be bipolar, and it’s not going to help the stigma that bipolar individuals are psychotic people who can go off at any second. I just really suck at words.

Yeah, my response is really just a facepalming at the fact that society didn’t need ANOTHER reason to treat bipolar as an inherently kooky/violent illness.

As someone with bipolar: Goddammit.

I live in Maine. I will be trying this, because when a tourist asks if it’s anything like the real deal, I want to be able to laugh

Which thankfully aren’t a thing in Maine anymore (Even though we still get the commercials?)

Fuck yeah, Denton county. Lived there for awhile, and now I might actually go back

Usually Denny’s has a witty remark about EVERYTHING, so it might be that the absence is just noticeable?

Just a thought—not that we really ought to be encouraging this generation of young men and women wandering their offices in clothing designed for, like, turn-of-the-century mountaineering.

The only way I will care about this is if Hilty plays Marilyn.

I friggin love cats. I’m REALLY allergic, but I deal. My cats help me so much by just being there and being adorable that it’s worth it to have to pop a Claritin some mornings.

Oh my god, this made me so anxious I almost started crying. SO glad the kitty was ok! I can’t believe they didn’t freak out. I would’ve just been like “GET THIS THING ON THE GROUND RIGHT MEOW”

I then took out a Companion Cube (Portal reference) ring box and gave him a ring.

Also, doesn’t Ruby Rose identify as genderqueer? So does it REALLY count as a “girl crush”?

My husband is my group’s DM :)

Druids are weird. Like, their devotion is what gives them their powers, right? Or they’ve communed with spirits?

According to DnD rules (the only ones to follow, amirite?) wizards do all the studying and LEARN magic, and it’s sorcerers that are inherently born with it.

I work at a Humane Society. I’m definitely showing this to my coworkers.

YES.

There’s a bunch of games for the 360 that I never got around to playing (ME being one of them), and I’m too frickin’ lazy to constantly switch out/set up my 360 and XBone every time I want to change consoles. SUPER excited for this!

I work at my local Humane Society. The job isn’t all kittens and puppies, but one of the perks is that I can grab an unadopted animal during downtime because they DO need to be socialized, after all.
