I think the main thing people here don't "get" is that this really is as shallow as "here are ways pop culture comes up in your life and interacts with your life and emotions!", or "here's a portrait of these people who make it a big focus in their life!" And that's super confusing because it's the whole point of A.V.

This is a really petty dead-end. It's like, "Harmony Korine! You better be able to string full English sentences together about a movie before you can make one!" in reverse. Some people who make movies are shit at understanding them, some people who are even bad at lighting a vlog can be great at picking apart a movie.
