I agree that it’s a big expenditure going from 2 to 3, but that’s for a whole variety of reasons. All I’m saying is that their “data” basically just says fewer people with 2 kids in a certain age range have been having a third. There is nothing that says they’re not doing it because of the whole car/car seat thing.

Pretty sure it’s not peer-reviewed. And after reading as much of the paper as I could, I can see why. The part where they said Minivans have class and lifestyle connotations that may not appeal to everyone was particularly funny, but their “rich data” is essentially based on how many people have their third kid while

If this is the case then that’s also crazy to me. You can have a couple year old minivan for less than a new Camry. So a car that can carry 3 kids (and their seats) is far from the highest costs of having 3 kids. Hell, childcare for the kids alone would surpass the cost of a car in less than a year. Average infant

So he does or doesn’t want kids to have to be in car seats? I’m confused. Also, I hardly think that a car seat is even in the top 10 cost items people really think about when it comes to having kids.

This is the only area I can see that sort of matches the “remote part of the property beyond a swivel gate where no business is conducted” description that might still be considered their property. Given where it’s at, I’m not sure who I’d actually side with on this one but I’m more inclined to say the dealership has

Lol oh it’s always the driving shoes/gloves and Ferrari hat guys blaming their car. Most definitely got embarrassed by a Miata or 350Z or something.

Well shit. Me too. Also a 2016 Club

I’ve driven a new M4 on and off track. I’m fairly confident that the M4 wasn’t the issue.

You’re one of those tuned STIs she’s talking about, aren’t you...

One of the main reasons Polestar hasn’t been selling much is because the only thing they can sell has been a small sedan that’s been around in the US since 2020. Everyone loves SUVs and crossovers in the US and other parts of the world, and as everyone has mentioned the price is very much in line with a higher end

OH WAIT!!!! I forgot that gravity on Mars is only about 38% of Earth’s, so technically that means you can load this thing up to at least 2 average female adults. I’m sure the stale fish will be by shortly to give me more reasons why this is perfectly fine and totally how it was designed.

Funny, I was just looking at the tongue weight capacity on a Polestar 2, which is like 200 lbs. A relatively small car with a STOWABLE hitch, not even a fixed bolted-on setup, has a higher vertical load capacity than a “truck” that’s supposedly indestructible and “built for Mars” or some shit? If you tried to carry a

-“Why are you in my car?”
-“Because I can’t get out.”

But where’s the fun in that? I like when an article makes you work for it a bit...

Yeah the comment had it as “BFTU” so I got to the Botswana thing like you at first, but I got there eventually since I’m assuming it was supposed to be BTFU.

Am I the only one who doesn’t know what BFTU means?

I’ll just get the typical “mustang doing mustang things” out of the way, I guess. Jokes aside, hopefully the kids end up ok. Can you ever really recover fully from TBI?

I had to upgrade from my 2000 Pathfinder (170hp) to a 2003 (240hp) just to make it up to the Eisenhower Tunnel at a decent speed without feeling like it was going to blow up every time. I’m genuinely curious how much power the old one had at over 11k feet elevation and being over 20 years old. Simple answer is not

If only he’d hit a crub and two fents instead.

I’m starting to think removing all Chargers, Challengers, and Infinity G3X cars from Southern California would wipe out like 90% of the takeover issues.
