My initial thought was that the intention was to cut down on drivers being on phone calls. Singing along to music could just be collateral damage since you’re using your mouth for both, but who knows anymore honestly.

I’m so lost. Tesla and Elon hate aside (of which there is plenty), I don’t understand what the “significant innovation and technological advancement” would be that the CT is bringing to the table, even when they occasionally work perfectly as intended. Odd (terrible) design and stainless body panels? Steer-by-wire

“breathes deeply of Elmo’s musk” is one of those things I wish I hadn’t read today.

I drove a 350Z from Texas to the Arctic Circle in AK back when I lived in Anchorage. Also around quite a bit of the Yukon without much difficulty. I agree, there is very little that these guys will be proving of their “rigs” aside from being able to charge the stupid things. I’m sure they’ll pull off onto some fire

I just watched a video of a Tesla driving down the highway and it thought the dude was running like 100 yellow lights because the sun was in front of it lol. I’m not surprised by this.

Wow there sure are a lot of grumpy non-car-people commenting here for it being an automotive enthusiast site. I agree with some of these like tinted windshields and The Squat, but roll bars and diffusers? How is that affecting anyone other than the driver who may actually track their car on weekends? Subwoofers and

I’m thinking (hoping) that whole thing was what they’re calling “rage bait” because...yeah.

I feel like most of the student driver stickers are used as a joke these days. I usually see them on fairly (poorly) modified WRXs and other stereotypical douche cars because they’re being “ironic” since in reality they’re actually the best undiscovered racecar driver or some shit.

I can’t stop laughing at the crooked steering wheel after a U-turn. These proud owners are starting to seem like the abused partner in a relationship who still defends the abuser and sticks around for some delusional reason. It’s ridiculous.

Oooh I want a sequential in mine. I wonder if I can find a wrecked cup car to steal it out of.

Also, I agree with your take. I think the styling of the ND has definitely helped steer away from the “feminine” comments but they’re still there. And there’s a whole thing in the social media world (because of a family guy

Exactly. I’m not sure how anyone could call the Furai a bad concept car just because they didn’t make it. That thing is awesome.

I’ve test driven quite a few cars and worked in a decent variety of dealerships from low to high end manufacturers, and not once have I ever heard of anyone doing any kind of driving history/record search before letting someone test drive a car. Credit may be pulled depending on the car (though mine never has been for

Funny. “Holy shit” was the first thing I said when I read it too.

How am I just now learning that the team principle’s name is Mike Krack? That sounds like a fake name you send in to the local news station when they’re announcing birthdays on air to get the anchor to say something funny. Like Ben Dover.

I’m pretty sure it’s also made from exhaust piping lol. This is bad.

It also says 350 cubic inches on that interior plate, yet the engine says 502. Then there’s the multiple sets of exhaust outlets. This thing gets more confusing and disturbing the more I look at it.

But which exhaust? The ones coming out the rear or the definitely real ones coming out behind the front wheels?

On the topic of minimalism, I’m currently in the middle of a cafe/bratstyle build and trying to figure out what to do about turn signals. I like the idea of keeping it clean, but I hate using hand signals (most people don’t know how to interpret them anyway). I also can’t seem to find any turn signals that look good

I think people should just pay more attention to the permissions they’re allowing in apps they install if they care about things like this. There’s a very useful “allow only when using app” setting for location access that keeps them from tracking in the background. I’m going to assume people don’t just drive around

Side thought: I wonder what the percentage of chargers/challengers on the road these days is that are actually currently registered. I feel like that would be an interesting statistic.
