Yep you have to go to the linked article to see that. Also you can pretty much see anything from space these days, so I feel like that term is sort of outdated. It’s more like “you can see how full all of their lots are vs last year from satellite imagery” or something like that. But you know...clicks.

👍

Yeah I agree there are definitely better ways to word this.

It’s not being used as a verb here. It’s like saying “be more accurate to [original reference material] in your replicas.”

Also, it’s somehow just now registering how well the brand name Canon fits with the word. I might be dumb.

y’know, even if I got kidnapped by aliens tomorrow — Tesla will solve autonomy.

It’s for when you have the doors off like a Jeep. Still need to be able to lock and unlock somehow.

I’m not saying I want it to keep doing it, but I’m not saying I don’t want it to.

Yeah that’s fair, I didn’t realize that at first but I still think it’s dumb as hell lol.

Evidently so

Yep that’s my bad.

Oh that makes more sense. Learned something new today, thank you! Still a dumb name lol

Exactly. Only thing beastly about this thing is its looks. And not in a good way, just like the opposite of Beauty.

He’s likely already fully stocked on the kool-aid since he bought his “beast” to begin with (why do they keep calling them that?). But yeah, I’ve never seen someone so proud and happy after just having their 35-mile-old vehicle dumping out coolant. This is just weird.

I don’t think you understand what a “fun fact” is.

Good point. Is the S not considered a sedan now?

Hey @elonmusk — just picked up my @Tesla CyberBeast. Drove five miles, parked, and now it won’t drive. Only 21 miles on the odometer. What gives?

So it’s dropped something like 30k in 16 months? Can that be possible? Elon doesn’t seem to be one to take massive losses on each unit sold like Rivian & others, so imagine how cheaply made these cars actually are (I don’t think any of us are surprised really) compared to what used to be similarly-priced EVs that

Well first of all, this car isn’t 8 feet tall lol. It’s 5 ft at its highest point, and the camera is still toward the back so I don’t see most people having an issue reaching it. And yes, I’m sure the roof of your car has some stuff on it. I’m not saying things like salt and dirt don’t touch the roof of a car, but the

I’m not sure I even get the purpose of such a long panoramic roof: Who will actually use that rearmost quarter?

Aside from what Daniel said about the housing and lenses being dust and waterproof, this camera is at the top of the car where air flows fairly cleanly and straight back for the most part. The issue with typical rear cams is that they’re on the back end of the car where all of the air is turbulent and basically
