I was actually talking about the “it’s giving” thing. Though I am seeing the Uncanny Valley comment a lot too lately.

...this 928 is giving uncanny valley.

The stainless (mis)matching issue is actually a very good point. My work has dealt with this issue after having replaced some brushed stainless panels. The color and darkness has never actually matched perfectly, even with the new panels supposedly coming from the same supplier. Maybe they have this perfectly ironed

Seems wrong to leave out “former NASA engineer who worked on the Curiosity Rover that was sent to Mars.”

dropped his Kia off at the dealership and walked about four hours back home.

22 inches is the smaller option... I mean I guess the thing is the size of a 2-bedroom house, but still.

I have a 20 year old Pathfinder and my dash is still dark as hell even with the lights on. But yes, I’m with you 100% on this being the issue. I come across 2-3 of these on seemingly every evening/night drive in Denver. My girlfriend is getting sick of me saying “turn your lights on, dumbass” every single time, but at

$37 is less than a half of a tank of gas for me right now.

I just pulled info from some basic ebike (Freego F3) for the math. On standard mode you get 50 miles from the 1920Wh battery (there is an Eco mode if you want to get even farther). 3000 miles at this rate would equate to 60 charges of that battery (115.2 kWh) and the US average retail price for electricity is $.12/kWh.

Wow. You really do shit us not. That’s oddly similar.

Which is largely why there’s a high concentration of leasing when it comes to EVs these days. Polestar also just announced the “flexible lease” so you can turn your car in after 5 months to get whatever model is newer and better (or if you just don’t like the car) so I think some of these manufacturers are aware of

Lol this is not even close to the same thing as pushing a new engine/turbo/tune, no matter how much you want it to be. But go on, keep trying I guess. And have a lovely day.

You’d think an electric vehicle company would have the whole charging an electric vehicle thing fairly well ironed out by now. It’s quite important in the grand scheme of EV things, and something so basic shouldn’t be what they’re having to figure out on a test mule. It’s not like this thing was just built in a shed

I made a clock out of a customer’s worn-to-vents rotors once back in my service advisor days. It made for a pretty cool desk piece.

Have you heard of Florida? Lol

I’m simply shocked.

Even the new single motor (RWD) is fun as hell. Would be interesting to see if they do a performance package option for the single in the future, even if it’s just the Ohlins dampers, Brembos and forged wheels.

The turn signal is a similar switch/button on motorcycles.

Someone’s never been around Colfax in Denver in the evenings. “Dozens” seems a bit light actually.
