They’re perfectly fine, honestly. Yeah you’ll probably notice a slight difference in handling and noise if you pay attention, but they’re in no way dangerous or anything. I’ve run true snow tires on trucks, SUVs and even have them on my track-prepped 350Z currently, and 90%+ of driving in that car is on dry roads but

Twice.

The one here in Denver that they just wrote an article about recently is now magically full of cars. I’m wondering if they just went and bought a bunch of shit cars from Craigslist to stuff in there for appearances.

Yes, if it’s this lol

Sound is necessary on EVs, yes. Making it as loud as a hellcat and sound like a gas engine is unnecessary and dumb.

Give it time.

My god this is dumb.

Polestar ships the car to your nearest service center and they can actually give you a rental through Hertz, particularly a Polestar 2 if they have any available. Perks of their big contract that happened last year.

What a name

I think (and I could be wrong) that the “yo-yo” part refers to how they still have a hold on you and pull you back in with new requirements. So our situation would be more like just the “yo” as if the string broke or something.

One time I got a call a week after I financed a car telling me my rate (and therefore payment) went down. So what’s that called? Reverse yo-yo? Oy-oy?

The national average of cost per kWh is $0.16, which means you can fill a long range Model 3 for about $13 and that should get you well over 200 miles. Sure there are other costs to factor into the comparisons, but I’m mainly focused on their “$11.60 to travel 100 miles” figure. Oh about a third of this “fueling cost”

Wow. Thanks for that waste of time lol

And yes, it’s quite noticeable. It also changes pedal mapping and adds “launch control” which will give you more torque on takeoff than if you were to just mash the pedal from a standstill. It’s pretty cool for $1200 honestly.

This is possibly the best thing Elon has ever inadvertently done.

Luckily this is a highway that sees very little semi traffic (if at all - I actually don’t know that I’ve ever seen one on 6th...) otherwise it would have been a lot closer to that one.

Things like jobs and other responsibilities make it difficult for most people to choose when they can “just stay home.”

A lot of us are, yes. But it only takes one or two idiots to cause a clusterfuck like this. And unfortunately idiots are everywhere.

Well this is cool as shit.
