I wish your assessment of my sanity was correct and it happened to be a huge conspiracy, but it isn’t. I am sure you wont read any of the rest of this, but to those still here I will explain. (To be fair, I agree with your assessment about accreditation and for-profit colleges. They couldn’t exist/compete financially

Wrong.

Agreed.

This problem is not limited to for-profit institutions. Thanks to all the government attempts to make higher education “more affordable,” higher education is now ridiculously expensive. What this essentially does is create many, many, victims of the student loan scam.

Research by the Brookings Group and Georgetown University suggests that a chief factor predicting lifetime earnings is not so much the major as the fact of earning a college degree. Earning a bachelor’s degree in any field pays off compared to earning only a high school or an associate degree.

What is the documentary called? I would be interested in watching it.

Drums. People who don’t know how to play a harmonica comes in at a close second!

Those emails are always fun to receive because the student is usually always shocked that they did so poorly because they decided not to take any of the criticism/feedback that you have given them that would actually improve an argument.

Are we related? :P My grandma has said this exact same thing dozens of times with no real reasons either.

True, but like most things it depends on what you (and your partner) want to spend money on. You could use your argument against lots of other items. Some people could argue that even a house is an awful investment.

You can insure a ring.

It depends on where you want to spend your money. I cant imagine why on earth people drive expensive cars, but some people like to do so.

Ha, I love it! I’ve ranted plenty about the robbery of the taxpayers by our “leaders” (overlords) in higher education. And again, following the money trail, all answers as to why/how we can let these kinds of things happen (loan scam, sexual assaults on campus, the idea that it is ok for some administrator to make 10

I absolutely think that we would get so many answers to many of the questions (tuition hikes, student enrollment, degree completion rates, armies of administrators squabbling over their fiefdoms, college sports vs. actual academics/education, etc.), by going back to basics: follow the money. Bonus points if you can

I am not sure how it works exactly, but I think the question of why a university committee, instead of law enforcement, would handle what is considered a crime (sexual assault) comes down to Title IX. Title IX requires that any institution that receives federal funding is legally obligated to provide a safe

I ask for you to civil and decent out of respect for any differences of opinions

Yes! I really like their videos on hidden meanings and philosophy of series. I am not sure why I like my pop culture so complicated... :P

I admit a lot of the more recent videos on their original philosophy have been hit or miss with me, depending on the topic. I liked the idea in this one a lot, although I think they could have focused on all kinds of rejection (not just the one focused on love and relationships).

Now playing

I hope to get out of the grays, but this video is only a few weeks old, but it is on point with your remark and I completely agree.
