I ran my first half-marathon today, and totally crushed it. Beat my goal time by seven minutes, and felt great afterwards. Just needed to brag about it a little bit :)

I’m thinking that it’s not so much that you hate sex with your husband, as it is that you got pushed into a lifelong commitment as a teenager that you weren’t ready for. Sex is something that should be enjoyed, and if you love your husband, and he’s good in bed, then something else is probably going on.

Some things that may help: Find a good endocrinologist. Have her test your estrogen, testosterone and progesterone and thyroid. Middle age hormone levels drop dramatically and so does sex drive. Find a good therapist. Explore possible sexual issues? I’m NOT diagnosing or stating just suggesting.

I am slowly learning to swim butterfly. Last night, for the first time, I managed 10 or 12 metres of full stroke butterfly. No fins, no paddles, no consistent rhythm, no ability to breathe underwater, but I did it.

I don’t think it’s true that people are always quick to forgive. It seems like it might be better from a personal standpoint to be able to forgive, but having never been through a personal tragedy of this magnitude, I can’t really say one way or another.

Sometimes you forgive because it's what's best for you, personally. You don't always forgive for the other person.

The other argument was that Camille can’t be forced to testify regarding private conversations with Bill, which is true and with which the judge agreed. But in the end that couldn’t stop the deposition since Camille could have other relevant information the plaintiffs could use to support their case.
