G’iah maybe looks uncomfortable because she just wants to be out in the open as a Skrull and doesn’t like that she ‘has’ to stay in human form?

Absolutely mental that he isn’t owning the song as pro-violence. You don’t release a song saying you’ll beat someone up, then try to pass it off as something else. Just be a hardcore gangster country singer! Open those floodgates! Own it.
Captain Marvel took the Skrull Pilgrims on a journey to find a new home, and at some point either returned them or let them go back home. She wasn’t there when her best friend died of cancer, and then she appeared back on Earth to beat up Thanos of Time Travel Past. Clearly left with the Skrulls still in place, and…
In fairness, he didn’t need to be a former Nazi scientist to play one in the first Captain America. Although, on the LGTBQIA+ front, that scene where he drinks in front of Steve Rogers was a little cozy... and he does go out of his way to turn a willing twink into a dominant hunk...
I want full flashbacks to Ortegas, M’Benga, and Chapel in the Klingon War.
Have not watched the show, have not watched the trailer, just wanted to say I appreciate that screengrab. I get that it’s a robe, but it looks like the deepest v-neck ever.
Entertainment Weekly asked her about that character just recently! She said she loved playing her, but admits she wouldn’t be cast in that role today.
No Facts Included Speculation:
... these characters collectively have been dating for decades and decades, and no one had experienced a partner having a dry orgasm until now?! Not even the married ones?
I absolutely love how M’Benga gets to be part of the main action. Just like McCoy did!
Mephisto confirmed!
I kinda like that Fury is now insisting on that, when we have the whole MCU showing us many people calling him Nick.
Was the voice at the end of the episode different for screener copies vs. The actual episode?
I enjoyed that Chief of Evil Skrulls had instant healing thanks to Extremis, indicating he’s already gone through the transformation process. As much as I agree with She-Hulk’s criticism that the last episode just devolves into a big CGI fight... I’m eager to see a Super Skrull CGI fight.
Timey-wimey stuff? Proving that she can carry out timeline missions and keep a secret?
I think “Vermont Taxi” probably serve “Let’s Potato Chips” as a snack.
Last week had M’Benga with Ortegas, this week with La’an. I’m happy they get to have him play off all the characters, Babs Olusanmokun has great timing with everyone he’s on-screen with.
I think the premise that, after thousands of generations as being the galaxy’s legendary heroes, that nobody wants or needs Jedi anymore is a interesting hook for the movie. What even is the point of training as a Jedi? How do you resurrect an ‘extinct’ warrior monk sect when there’s no clear utility for you?
This episode gave me a lot more confidence for the rest of the miniseries. Especially since they answered my question, how did we go from just a couple Skrulls left behind on Earth to so many, all angry at Fury?
Before either character is killed, I need MCU’s Olivia Colman and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss to share a scene together. Preferably as best murder buddies on a road trip.
