Some might say that she was within her rights to do that. The horse continued to back up and if it reared it could have put her in a dangerous situation. And like another commenter said - “they don’t feel it as much” - so it has to be harder. So not necessarily the worst thing in the world for a horse owner.

HIPAA laws exist for this very reason - to keep medical records confidential. So I think this is a very different legal situation than the Gawker suit.
