I saw a documentary she made about herself on Netflix and, basically, her family was FUCKED. UP.

Good for her for protecting herself, especially as a teenager with parents who obviously weren't looking out for her. I certainly don't think Teenage Me would have had the awareness or strength to flat-out reject someone with that level of professional sway.

Seriously. I have a teenage sister and (and this is unironically) her life seems so much harder than mine. Not only does she have to go through all the shit that I went through, but it's literally all broadcast everywhere.

I said it on the Dirtbag post and I'll say it here: I absolutely cannot judge these tweens. When Ginger left the Spice Girls (in the middle of their American tour and right before I got to see them!!!) I was inconsolable for days, and she wasn't even my favorite. Lord knows what I'd have done if Sporty was the one

Oh god! The girl who just filmed the glow in the dark stars on her ceiling! "THIS IS HOW I FEEL NOW."

I'm experiencing a mix of total gleeful schadenfreude + my usual hatred for teenagers that seems to be flaring up a bit more than usual...

Irreconcilably Different Directions

With each and every passing day, I thank whoever is in charge that I did not grow up during the time of facebook, twitter, vine, instagram, whatsap, et all.

not super cool of you to doxx the Jezebel comment section like that.

I worked in cosmetics for a major brand for 2 years, and honestly, if the store wasn't slammed, I was happy to teach women (or men) how to apply makeup. I enjoyed helping my clients feel better about their appearance. I don't know how compensation works at Sephora, or if there are UPT (units per transaction)

Good question...I wonder that too. When I read reviews I am constantly surprised by how many people give a product a 4 or 5 start rating and then go on to say " I havent seen a difference yet, but I am going to keep at it..." What? Why are you giving it such a high rating if it hasnt done anything for you?

NO! First, I love it when you come in looking for products and are wearing no products because it makes my life easier to find your foundation shade. Same, if you want to try a brow product, why come in with your brows done? We have to remove it! Its different if you're coming in after work and have had it on all day,

Try Stila's eyeliner pen. I loooooove it.

Fragrances. But also the testers of anything, which I think is disgusting.

WHAT DO PEOPLE STEAL THE MOST FROM SEPHORA?

Probably irrational but: I don't wear a lot of makeup in general, and feel pretty inept at it. Nevertheless I find it fascinating and wish I were better at it. Are the fancy Sephora ladies judging me when I go in there and but my one little rollerball of perfume or a lipgloss? If I ask them really basic questions (ie:

Hey everyone! Just a minor note that I work at a SiJCP (Sephora inside JCPenney) so there may be minor policy differences, but otherwise it's all the same. And I'm pretty familiar with most brands Sephora carries, just because I'm a product junkie.

"JgLZF t-!qrhbt f" is a great answer to the question...
