At what point does the alleged victim, who seemingly wrote a fairly well-composed explanation, that goes far beyond “he didn’t mean to do it,” provide legal grounds for the guy to maybe sue the school? And who has confidentiality rights? The witnesses? Granted I imagine he’s just kicked outta school with no legal…

What a joke... In an effort to protect women from sexual assault, oftentimes Title IX denies that they have any agency over their own decisions/actions. “Oh, he didn’t assault you? You’re just scared of him. We’ll kick him out of school just to be safe.”
