Dear 2016,

Fuck, yes.

Oh-ho, yes. Sense8 is such a good show, and, I think, I need its special blend of humanist optimism, especially now. I’m normally hot and cold on the Wachowskis, but their sensibilities fit this show perfectly. I don’t know that a concept as convoluted and complicated as this one could work without their direction.

Christmas specials? Short seasons of excellent scripted shows? Using popular shows and revenue streams to subsidize smaller more experimental shows?

Nomi and her non-relationship with her mother makes me want to burn the hospital down too.

I really enjoyed the first trailer for this! I hope it can live up to what they’re aiming for. Very ambitious and interesting, but only time will tell if it was too much to achieve.
