It didn’t seem cheap to me. Reese had deeply admired Carter since the season 1 show where she was The Number. The Kiss was affection in time of dire danger. Or maybe they would have taken the relationship deeper—but time ran out. Then mayhem rained upon the guilty.

She was sent to Italy....

About learning more about characters “over time.” That’s one reason that it’s a bad idea to skip episodes as you watch the first time. Every episode (even if it’s case of the week) has flashbacks. So you learn about how the humans (& the machine) got to where they were.

I’ve missed several episodes this season—then caught them on Hulu. (I cut the cable cord.) Had something else to do when the final aired—and decided not to catch it later.

I’m one who didn’t catch it originally—who watches CBS for fun? (I do catch Sunday Morning & 60 Minutes when I’m feeling serious.)

Kipling respected the English, Irish & Scottish soldiers who paid the price for the Empire. The upper class writers of his day did not admit they existed, even as they benefited.

The framing story for Song of the South was poorly done. Uncle Remus does come across unfortunately.

The article is “informative” if you’ve never read any history or literature.

Kipling was never Poet Laureate—he did not want to be. He also refused a Knighthood.

She called it “garbage” because she’s an obvious & hamhanded writer. With a very small vocabulary.

It’s as though the author was utterly ignorant of the last few centuries of world history. Then she read a Wikipedia article on Kipling. She’s shocked!
