Tough shit. Now go cut your fingernails.
Great advice! Ladies, just activate your "pregnancy off switch" and voila! No babies!
1. You're wrong about that, especially in a poor country like Mexico.
That's what you took from this?
I know. For a woman who desperately doesn't want a child, it might be the best thing she's ever done.
You're presenting this as if it's a choice between safe abortion and dangerous abortion, but it's a choice between misoprostol and other, more dangerous methods of abortion.
Why?
I think this article is more to point out the terrible shit that happens when you restrict women's access to abortion. With no access to safe abortion, there are no great solutions.
Or it could be because he pesters her EVERY DAMNED DAY and even if you *like* sex with your SO, that shit (the constant harassment part) gets old fast...
You keep insisting she's fucking someone else. Because a woman is always fucking someone. And if it isn't the man who is right there offering then it is someone else. It just couldn't be that the lazy sod she's married to has de-evolved into a lump who thinks foreplay consists of "hey, how 'bout it?" A woman/wife is…
Nah. She's just bored with it.
Or maybe he fucking sucks in bed and she's too nice to tell him.
Or, maybe, just maybe, she doesn't like to have sex? That happens, you know.
Oprah has absolutely done so much to talk about and educate when it come to child abuse and sexual abuse (include stigmatized groups like boys, incest, etc.). She gets a lot of flack for other thing throughout her career, but I've always had a lot of respect for her for that.
I'm glad it was put out there on the air from someone with the voice that Oprah has, that it is okay to have found the abuse pleasurable. Maybe it's becoming a little less taboo to say it now, but I'm so glad she told him that it's not wrong to feel that way.
I'm guessing raw foods, but WTF a salad without even olive oil and vinegar? This vegetarian would not eat such a salad. Shit, you can't really even make stir fry in a dry pan with no oil, and that is another delicious dinner. No peanut sauce? She wasn't really being vegan at all. It was a convenient excuse to starve…
I only eat organic steam. And I consume it through my pores, so I don't disrupt the natural flora in my mouth.
I think the main difference is that with anorexia the core thought is "eat less" whereas orthorexia is about dividing all foods into "good" versus "bad".
Is this what orthorexia is? It sounds like she was suffering from anorexia - carefully monitoring and documenting what she was eating under the guise of 'healthy or clean eating' and eating some foods in private out of shame.
