I hear you, agree re. the relative recovery time, and wish I could apply your "no expectations" approach to my life more generally. We only have so much influence over things!

Me too! I remember once I was in trouble and so was not allowed to watch it (or a Different World). I think I had a tantrum over it.

Fully agree!

Sadly, not in my country. There needs to be a health risk first. Or I'd be all over that procedure. The incisions aren't even that big anymore.

I loved Claire Huxt-able!

I actually wish I had the option to schedule a CSection. I know that healing from a natural birth is easier, but the idea of just checking in to a hospital (and then checking out for the procedure) seems like a nice alternative to what for many can be a very traumatic event.

Yeah. I'm probably gonna do it. The scariest things I can think of are a prolapsed vagina or permanent incontinence (legitimate risks, apparently). But my mom got a surge of the post-birth happy hormones, so I hope that's in my future too.

POOP!? SICK!!!

UGH!

Same.

Goddammit!

Right? And what exactly were these "academic scholarships and scholastic awards"?

Go Wanjuki!

Her website says:

Ha! Apparently her defense exhibits in this case were over 100 pages long. Musta been some touch ups in there somewheres...

The office of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani tweeted this statement: "Happiness is our people's right. We shouldn't be too hard on behaviours caused by joy."

CoppaFeel???

I do want to have children; I grappling with my irrational levels of self interest, outlined above, that drive me in this direction.
