nitpick- that’s the blow-off valve you hear when you let off the gas. it’s there to vent the pressure spike when the throttle plate closes. The inertia of the turbo’s impeller means it’s still producing boost as it’s slowing down, but you just slammed the door shut in front of it. the “pfff” sound is that pressure…
