My boss has a current generation and it is very nice to ride in. The CVT isn’t as noticeable on the 6 cylinder as it can be on 4 cylinder (same goes for my mother-in-law’s Murano) that my mom had in her Rogue
Had a 2011 Maxima with the sports package, and I loved it. Fast and handled well for a big car.
I owned an 09 for 2 years and honestly I loved the car. CVT didn’t bother me. I think they need to stop the hard sell that it’s a sports car, because I think they are overselling and under delivering on that.
Tasting notes:
300hp + 30mpg highway is nothing to dismiss either...
“300 horsepower isn’t what it used to be.”
I don't get it. What's dull about this car? 300hp, bold lines and the best interior Nissan has done in years. It's not the Malibu?
The best description of a Maxima I’ve ever heard is that it’s a great car if you want something that’s somewhat luxurious but don’t want your bosses thinking that they’re paying you too much.
The sad part is that the iA will sell way better than the Mazda version causing all the Mazda fanboys to have an aneurism.
I like how the entire dash and steering wheel are essentially all from the Mazda parts bin but re-branded as scion. It’s the exact same gauge cluster and steering wheel down to the patterns and materials found in my 2014 Mazda3. The only difference is the Scion Badge. But then, that’s a good thing because I fucking…
Damn you, I was just about to say!
You've never owned a Jeep, have you? I would say his shocks are fine, his springs are fine, and if there is any aesthetic damage it only served to add character.
I heard the bang noise, too, but I have a hard time believing that that small of bounce broke his shocks or a leaf spring, especially on a Wrangler.
We must be eskimo brothers.
