I’m not modest either, but sometimes I just feel like wearing long flowy outfits. I love long cardigans that billow behind me like a cape, but I’m as likely to pair them with jeans as with a minidress.

I have the opposite problem where they turn into a weird ankle length.

I once called amazon because they had accidentally sent me two items (I only paid for one). They just told me to keep them both because sending it back would be too much of a hassle for them.

If the skirt in story #2 was washable, it shouldn’t matter if it got wet with water or pee..

Doesn’t he do *something* to her boobs in the novel so she can no longer go topless for a while?

I’m not versed in 15th century French law. It was also more of an exchange, they left Quasimodo behind.

I’ve encountered some companies who, when I asked for a repair (even one I would have paid for), simply gave me a new product.

In French clm is short for contre la montre ‘(race) against time’.

Zip ties could work.

According to wikipedia they hired artists from Canada and the UK, of course they still could have Japanese roots.

At least for one of them that might have helped. I bet the other one would have done it alone too.

Seems the truth is a mix of both. She was adopted by the gypsies, but she is also described as having black hair, dark eyes and tanned skin.

Wasn’t the Esmeralda from the original novel a random French baby the gypsies adopted and raised as their own? My memory is a bit foggy.

But part of that was to keep the dad’s identity a secret.

That doesn’t work in every country either. Firstly, because not every country has the tradition that the wife takes the husband’s name and secondly because many countries have rules about what can be used as a first (or middle) name which rules out most family names.

Or you’re a sleazy ex-politician (and ex-doctor of law) from Germany like Karl-Theodor Maria Nikolaus Johann Jacob Philipp Franz Joseph Sylvester Buhl-Freiherr von und zu Guttenberg.

I found it funny that my name doppelgänger lives in Brazil of all places. For all I know she could be some long lost relative because my family name is kind of rare. I can’t ask that woman because I don’t speak Portuguese and she doesn’t speak English or German.

The moment the name went live people bought up URLs and accounts with ‘Stormi Jenner’. She released the full name a while later. I don’t know if that was to fool people who hoped to sell the accounts for large sums or a reaction to that. If it was the first it was a good trick, since most people didn’t know Travis’

Japanese don’t have them either.

Using facebook as a source, there is apparently one other woman who shares my name (though she has a middle name and I don’t). I live in Germany and she lives in Brazil.
