I had a play shop as a kid. I learned maths, how to give change and that I couldn’t make the prices higher than the amount of play money we had. People also gave me their leftover foreign coins from vacations to add to the shop.

I was never afraid of maths but of my maths teachers. I don’t know what it is, but of all the different maths teachers I had troughout my whole school career only one didn’t creep me out in some way or another.
