Yes I do, but it is quite obvious what cloud platforms are. That would be like saying “game consoles (Whatever that means.)“

Is that really that hard to understand for someone who writes about videogames?

The next game will be released for PC, consoles, and cloud platforms. (Whatever that means.)“

tbf Division had some more “wacky” outfits too - nothing too Fortnite-y, but once you got into the outlandish sports uniforms or military jackets covered in medals, it definitely was a bit brighter and zanier compared to default grunt-bro style

I worked on a number of WW2 games in the late 90s. During a visit to my house, my grandfather, a WW2 veteran, noticed my published games shelf. One of the boxes had a german solider on the front. He said he was proud I had a job I loved doing, but how would I feel if someone made a video game based on one of the most

speaking of cringe

Disagreed. It’s cringy to anyone who has the PS4 joke to compare it to. If you can see what they’re aiming for, and how far they failed to reach it, it’s easy to feel that way.

Whether you agree or not, he explains the reaction pretty clearly in the article.

In a rational world that valued outcome as much as intent, this would be greeted as the equivalent of shouting “Heil Hitler”. I don’t care how “well intentioned” you think communism is “on paper”

Lol shut the fuck up dumbass boomer

I refuse to spoil anything for folks who have yet to get into the game, but some of the deliveries are just...entertaining.  Let’s put it that way.  Seems safe.

There are 15 publications listed on Metacritic that gave this game a perfect score. There are close to 10 others that gave it a near-perfect score. It’s not that hard to believe.

This is especially interesting considering all the publications that gave this game a perfect or near-perfect score that DON’T have cameos in the game. Or wait, maybe that means this isn't interesting at all.

But Wildlands wasn't racist, as you've so belligerently tried to state in the past. The villains are exaggerated, but I've never thought that you could label something 'racist' simply because that's the particular ethnicity of the antagonist. Playing through Wildlands when it came out, I never once saw any sort of

Ghost Recon Wildlands was set in Bolivia, not Mexico, and its villains were exaggerated, action movie like caricatures of narco cartels and drug dealing paramilitary forces, which have long been in bed with Bolivia’s government.

Ghost Recon Wildlands was a disaster.

Oh no it’s fine to align with one of those, as long as it’s america.

Who will gatekeep the gatekeepers?
