Pretty much.
I just spat tea all over my keyboard. Thanks dude.
Are you shitting me I was watching this literally 18 years ago
They’re two very, very, very different beasts and regardless of what some people say, you don’t have to hate one to like the other.
Man Reboot, Beast Wars, Gundam Wing, DBZ, TMNT that was my childhood.
Used to watch Reboot every day when I got home from school, but it started at 3:30 and I usually didn’t get home until about 3:40. I would RUN home to watch it and catch as much as I could. I wasn’t even a gamer at that point - I just really like the concept and had maybe a crush on Bob.
I have an issue with the idea that “trash talking” is perfomative. This presumes that we are able to compartmentalize emotion, which is not true. We can repress emotion, recognize it, then choose how to behave, but that’s hard to do.
The Smash Community is incredibly toxic in general. #NotAllSmashPlayers but the majority of them are arrogant, narcisstic, cringe worthy and downright rude. Just observe how they interact with one another before and after a match, two inflated egos ride on the verge of a physical fist fight over a fighting game. It’s…
Hope it’s not too distracting for the players.
See, I have really enjoyed Forza Horizon because the driving was less realistic. I suuuuuuuuck at racing games, but the driving is arcadey-y enough that I can still win races on medium difficulty. I hope FH3 will be doable on easy/medium for me.
Read the manga, thought it was great. Hope they can do it justice in the run-time of a movie.
This comment was a rollercoaster that ended with me high-fiving you.
I was picked on a lot as a kid and it was often directed at my somewhat defiant love of GameCube. It really sucked and probably contributed to triggering the depression I came to struggle with for the years following (and now manage). And I gotta say, all the sorrow that came in response for my love of GameCube was…
You forgot Ikaruga. The lack of Smash Bros. is egregious.
People love to shit on TTG because it’s not our original, beloved Teen Titans (and, y’know, the whole Young Justice/GL situation), but if you can get past that and accept it as the goofy comedy it is, it’s really quite wonderful.
