Agreed. Watchmen in particular worked well because there was already a script for it in the form of the original novel. All he had to do is a frame for frame recreation (which he more or less stuck to, and I applaud him for it).

She was making them earn their keep in her home. And they *wanted* to be there to escape horrible conditions in their home countries. Their families paid to have them sent to her so they could eventually have better lives.

My theory: Wells goes back in time to kill Barry's mom because he knows it will give him the angst necessary to become The Flash. When Barry realizes, he tries to stop Wells, and ends up being dragged back in time to his mother's murder, hence the yellow and red streaks. After he is unable to stop Wells from killing

I like PDP as a person, but his videos are annoying as fuck… And there I go commenting on commentary… Dammit.

The only thing about the alcohol commercial was that the final "drink responsibly" punchline was so entirely predictable. Otherwise it might have coaxed a chortle out of me. I think Satan was definitely the best part of this episode for me, and the visual gag of Stan coming onto the basketball court from the depths of

I'm guessing we get a reveal that he was somehow controlled through the Mira Kuru

Can we talk about Roy's WTF dream sequence? I'd like to talk about Roy's WTF dream sequence.

Can't wait for next week's review. The "Macbeth" gag is one of my favorite sequences in all of television.

Jason Biggs is so good at playing characters whose very nature leads them to fuck up and annoy the audience. I bet he's hilarious IRL.

That will never happen without some better symbolism behind it. Most of the show's nudity is just to either normalize non-sexual nudity, to show episodes of humiliation, or to show a character profile through a sexual relationship.

I don't think it really gets any better than "Guess Hoes Coming To Dinner." From the introduction of A Pimp Named Slickback, to Huey's assertion that "Not all women are hoes. We're talking 20, 25% at most." it's classic Boondocks through and through.

I would say hers shows a lifestyle which completely screwed her up, and then outside influences which solidified that. First we learn she's drug-addled trailer trash and fucks around. Ok. Coulda figured. But then we find out she's had a string of abortions, which she finds painful and humiliating. Clearly she doesn't

Claudette's was more badass than anything else. She fucking stabbed a rapist to death in his kitchen, and then finished cleaning it spotlessly. I wanted to give her a round of applause.

I actually enjoyed this episode. Maybe it's because I went into it expecting a complete and total train wreck, but it exceeded my expectations. Of course any Stinkmeaner episode was going to be fan service. There's not much more you can do with that concept. McGruder took it to the limit in the first 3 seasons. For

I think it's a good analogy because Aaron isn't on The Boondocks anymore so now it's basically just slapping shit together and hoping for the best.

I did laugh audibly at the Kanye reference, even if he wore that kilt a couple years ago. If they had done more with the whole "black people dating Kardashians" thing, and specifically focused more on Kanye's arguable lapse in judgement since he got with Kim, it could have been a much better episode. My only solace

As a general rule, if I find myself unable to eat food while watching a show, it should be NC-17.

That's the one scene I've actually had to look away from. It was mainly the pure terror on his face and those blood-curdling screams combined with the tearing noise of the flesh as the stitching ripped.

This is the first episode where I've actually found myself rooting for Hannibal, at least against Mason. I absolutely loved the face eating part, because it seemed so fitting an end for a sadist like Mason. I only wish that Hannibal had actually killed him when he snapped Mason's neck, or that the scene with Jack and
