Weakness should be apparent by now, sans footage.

Ah, the old cash grab.

Strange New Worlds and The Offer are the two shows that got me to take that trial run with Paramount+. And both have been supremely satisfying. The site is missing out on a lot of great work that isn’t called Stranger Things.

“Until, again, today, when...” Sometimes y’all are awful writers.

But yeah, her talking to Ben over the comm with a dude right beside her who GLANCES OVER AT HER and she continues to do it...yeesh.

Both here and in Boba Fett characters are submerged in liquid with hoses running to their mouths, but their noses remain unplugged. And every time I see this I ask “why isn’t liquid going up their noise?” This irritates me more than the familiar narrative.

After 31 how can it not be a vast improvement? I’m very curious about the potential for comedy from Zombie.

I really had no interest or expectations, but it was pretty goddam charming.

Well, it’s a business. They have to meet some level of revenue goals.

I enjoyed Fallen Kingdom more than World because it at least attempted to go in a different direction (results may vary, granted). But my expectation is that Dominion will be convoluted and disappointing and conveniently open-ended.

I was so looking forward to one of your beloved slide shows...

I thought this was another excellent episode...except for Hank wandering around calling out for Cristobal. That felt utterly ridiculous.

I will hear no besmirching of Burn Gorman. He has always been an engaging presence, and now is one of the standouts in a sea of great performances on The Offer. Respect.

That cast is not compelling.

Have to admit, I found the first three new episodes funnier and at times more touching than all of season 2. That violence is still fairly repellent, and in some cases the character treatments are kind of cruel, but I’ll stick with it for awhile.

So relatable...

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the original show, but these days dumb-funny fictions in the face of real-world atrocities are gaining in value.

I would like to know more about these childhood dental slide puzzles, as in my day we did not get such things, just fluoride treatments and lollipops.

Love the show, love Thede, and am happy to hear we get another season.

“It is just these four people who have defined what that show is in the last decade,” he said.
