I looked back at my activity over the past 3 years and the number of Steve Thinks That Was Worthwhile exclusive films/series has declined sharply into and through 2021. We get past THE HAND OF GOD (only because I dig Sorrentino) and I’m done.

So glad I wasn’t alone there...fumbling around looking for a show called Filthy Whore, which could be awesome or could be awful.

I mean, come on...why even give him the attention?

I finally watched NO TIME TO DIE after waiting the requisite six weeks for home rental, and now every time I watch something on YouTube I get the same fucking ad for the film, which I would have otherwise forgotten about 24 hours later.

Lighten up, Ferdy.

A Bridge Too Far, of course.

Ali and Lindo? That’s great casting. Disney better not fuck this up.

Sadly, even if we needed a BUSAN remake, knowing that Timo is directing tells me all I need to know about the film. His tendency for unsettling violence has made me wince at his later work.

A shame filmgoers can’t ever be surprised.

Is his name Romulus but everyone just calls him Roman for short? Isn’t that like being named King but people calling you Subject? And yes I realize I’m asking this in the middle of season 3.

THE MARTIAN is just like the MCU films: straightforward, totally predictable, glossy if not particularly artful, and very very popular.

I was about to give up on CURB (again) and the last two weeks have completely turned me around (again). This was a great episode.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to ask why the fuck I have to be interrupted every 30 seconds by a pop up ad that covers half the screen of my PC while trying to read a Sam Barsanti bad review of a show I’ve been crossing my fingers about for months?

Love how articles like this pop up and suddenly the commenters sound like they had six months as an intern with Michael Bay. “Let me tell you about film production, pal...”

Well that sounds fucking miserable.

Thank you.

That would be Martin.

Movies are back! (On Netflix...?)

I bet there are at least five instances where someone should die or break major bones but will get up and dust themselves off. That seems like SOP for this kind of film.

Their interface is garbage, and a lot of what I assumed would be free to stream is at a cost, so I watched a few things over a week and then bailed on it. I already have too many platforms to juggle and I don’t need that.
