Like the ABCs of Death films, the VHS collections usually have a percentage of genuinely great stuff amidst the dreck. Well, except Viral which was disappointing. My only question mark is if the Timo segment will be gory and great or gory and awful.

Every time I worry the show will become stale they do some outlandish shit that cracks me up. I absolutely love the new season. The only question mark I had was why Guillermo was huddled with a corpse.

No, the Mandarin/Trevor stuff in IM3 was great. Anyone who couldn’t appreciate a comedic swerve like that in their action film needs to lighten up.

I’m kinda 50-50 on Schrader’s work, so I’m always curious to see what he brings. I think performances have a lot to do with whether I will find his films powerful or not. Having said that, the guy made MISHIMA, which is a) one of my all-time favorites, and b) a staggeringly beautiful film...so who knows?
