“Make up something completely original” is a phrase that seems to be lost on a vast majority of film and television creators.

Of the many, many services I subscribe to, Max is the only one that has frequent crashes in the final 5-10 minutes of a program.
I wish all mediocre shows would get axed this quickly.
I feel certain there are third options.
So, is this just a Blockbuster Machine issue? Do indie directors give a damn about geo-political issues affecting box office? I’m trying to imagine if John Sayles or John Waters ever gave much thought to anything more than getting their films seen by a handful of American audiences.
I feel like I’ve been using “insufferable” a lot this week.
Really wanted to like it. Found it aggressively insufferable.
Game: count how many times in each film characters should have rightfully died in any scene where non-super-powered humans were flung about, punched through walls, or dropped several stories.
When is there ever just one actor available?
As the owner of an Xbox I can only hope it ports one day.
I find something about the M.O.D.O.K. animation style really off-putting. But I want to like the show. I doubt the MCU will ever do a proper version of the character...and sadly, I had always hoped Arcade* might show up somewhere...I guess this is fine.

I guess I missed that it was intended to be specifically Cthulhu and not just -ish. But I can appreciate that it was.
The recent UNDERWATER has a great Cthulhu-ish surprise at its core that also bears the imposing scale you would want for such a thing. It’s an oppressively claustrophobic film (for me anyway), but it works really well...which is sad considering it seemed to be cast off and forgotten.
Don’t know if anyone has a - ahem - dead pool going, but my money is on Pete Davidson being the first Slipknot.
