Really looking forward to LUCA, so it being free on D+ is great news. And since I would have paid money to watch it, I’ll just pretend I’m paying $15 for it and $15 for BLACK WIDOW.

Mulan was 90 days. Betting the Marvel stuff takes longer.

Is it possible he was being funny? Sometimes text has a way of ruining a joke, good or bad.

I don’t know the history on this DC stuff, but there is a moment in the longer film where - presumably a flash forward to a possible future - Darkseid is standing behind Superman, who seems to be cradling a burnt body I assumed was Lois. Lots of assumptions here, sorry: if Lois’ death was caused, ultimately, by

In my day there was a lot of “Zut alors! Eet ees Batroc zee leaper!”, which I imagine you would never see now.

I did not know this. (rushes to Wikipedia...)

Absolutely agree. I thought this was a great setup to whatever happens. My only concern is that they’re only doing six episodes, so they’re going to have to hustle once they get going.

The vast majority of premium items now are strictly rentals, and I struggle with less blockbuster-y films like this and WILLY’S

I wasn’t even a huge fan of the overall film, but Lindo is on fucking point. The Globes are fucking embarrassing.

I’m kind of shocked y’all remembered LUCK, which is a personal favorite of the past 20 years. Thanks!

Watched it this afternoon. The rapport/banter that builds between Washington and Malek is enjoyable, but man, Leto’s character is a super annoying creep. I wish they had cast someone else in that role.

Fair enough, thanks!

I haven’t followed comics in decades and don’t know any storylines from the last, oh, 30 years. So forgive my ignorance. But...:

Epix? Who dreamed up this release plan?

Sorry, but I am stuck on your choice of “rose”. I have literally in 50+ years never seen it used this way.
