I feel like I have to do the disclaimer first: I’ve never been a big fan of Fey. I laugh at her work; she’s fine. But I don’t clamor for every project she does, I was never a 30 ROCK fan. I’ve never actually seen MEAN GIRLS. That last one’s on me.

That’s a lovely way to approach it. I already seek out an inordinate number of films across all lines, so I’m not as concerned about discovery. (Two most recent favorites I highly recommend: Lucrecia Martel’s ZAMA and Lynne Ramsay’s YOU WERE NEVER REALLY HERE.)

Saying “well, the season was already shot” rather than just “we support and believe him” implies that had it not yet been completed, Tambor would have likely been removed from the show, yes? That’s how I read that. Not being a huge fan of the show anyway, this won’t ultimately affect my viewing schedule.

Is there a lot of flashing light in CLIMAX? I am epileptic and parts of ENTER THE VOID gave me a headache. But I want to see this one.

Yeah, this sounds like one of those films the genre fans gush over all year and I end up finding repulsive when I finally talk myself into seeing it...and I’m not squeamish about ugly themes or gore and whatnot. I appreciate the detailed review so I can avoid it for now.
