Not sure I understand some comments about these heroes avoiding the result of IW by being in the quantum realm...my understanding was that the gauntlet’s power affected all of existence, so whether small or large, they would be at risk. Is that not how it works?

Drummer has always been a favorite character I wish was given more screen time. I have to say, that entire salvage sequence with the Nauvoo was thrilling in a way I did not expect. Also, every time they show Anna talking to her wife, I start to worry something bad is going to happen to one or the other. Certain cinema

Bro, really, bro.

I can’t tell you how happy that makes me.

Quill struck me as more petulant than he came across in either GUARDIANS flick, which is why the events of IW made him seem like a problem, but bottom line: Strange knew this was all going to go down, so it was unavoidable. Hard to blame the guy if it was a pre-determined path. Still, what a dick.

Apart from being misguided on a number of levels (the first of which is “don’t try to reboot HEATHERS”), I’m chafing against the so-outrageous! behavior and dialogue. How about some realism in our dark satire?

I guess I have to go back and watch the film a second time (which I would have done anyway), because I was certain that there was a corpse in the opening scene in the distinct Valkyrie outfit (which no other survivor of RAGNAROK wore). So I assumed this meant “sacrificial goat”...as in, she dead. But no one is

How do you do that?

Guesswork:

I’ll admit that I found season 1 fairly uninteresting until the finale, and then I was completely sold. I am greatly enjoying these first two episodes because they seem to be hinting at something far greater than what I assumed was a simple “the robots are going to eventually take over the park” scenario.

What if I go to see the two similarly themed dramatic horse indies back-to-back, will that confuse MoviePass?

I have a real soft spot for KUNG POW, and snorted when I saw this again. It’s by no means perfect, but I laugh a lot at it. The baby-rolling-down-the-hill gag is a favorite.

Does Spoiler Space still exist? Because I’d love a place to discuss this one.

Having watched all of the Bond films as I grew (and sometimes several times over) I was surprised when, after passing 50, I re-watched OHMSS and found it to be a far better film than my memory was allowing. I have a real soft spot for DIAMONDS, and Craig’s CASINO ROYALE is brutal excellence. But OHMSS wins out.

Holy shit, that’s funny. Thank you.

That’s an awfully long way to go to say you didn’t care for it. As someone who does not get high and thoroughly enjoys the original, I’m happy to have contributed a small sum to the funding, though I fully expect this will not be as much fun to watch. But they’re really nice, funny guys and I’m okay with the presumed

There are quite a few actors who could probably do a very rich and terrifying serious take on the Joker. But like Batman, Superman, Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Jesus, and James Bond, maybe we’ve had enough of that character for awhile. Frankly, I’d just be happy to see Cage (crazy or not) in some stronger films. JOE,

Perkins! We agree! I thought this day would never come.

Woof...yeah, I don’t know how they can do this; if faithfully adapted, it would be kind of horrific, and if watered down (as it surely will be) it will be sort of who-gives-a-fuck. In the words of Monty Python, this is a story for laying down and avoiding.

Or, instead of seeing the series continue or creating a female Jones, you could make an original story with a female protagonist. FFS, man, why is this so hard for Hollywood?
