What is this?! A grill for ants??

@dragon:ONE: Verizon does have SIMs for their phones that operate in GSM/UMTS and CDMA. They've had them for years as well.

@Vidikron: And the antenna issue was shown immediately upon release, so everyone had time to return/exchange the phone if they wanted.

When in the wild the DeLorean can often reach speeds of 88 mph and bask in its glory. However, in captivity, its spirit is crushed and it is mocked by passerby's hopped up on caffeine and sugar:

I would be concerned of falling off that thing, or rolling, a few things there could do some damage to you.

@Tony Kaye: Agreed, and there is no loophole of "21st Century", he said "All time"!

@Say Waaah?: Having two SIMs allows for a device (that supports it) to switch between them automatically, or manually by the user.

@aletaziar: What? I said paint the inside. Paint and seal the inside with a non-metallic and non-carbon-black paint and your good to go. Or at least paint the SIM pocket portion.

@joep1984: Or paint the inside, less likely to scratch off.

@nootron: Undoubtedly true, and unfortunate.

@nootron: Agreed. Often, even a single item (as opposed to a system like a computer, car or radio) has taken more than one person to actually "invent".

Good article, I liked it.

One of the kitchen knife commercials would have fit in here nicely:

@Yay Taco: Its probably a "organized" roll out, so you have to wait until they make it available for your device. Not sure if they go by SN, alphabetical, etc., but they don't release it to all at once from past experience.

I would say, in the past ~11-12 years, the most important invention could be those which allow for improving of chip fabrication.

@HTownTime: That was a 20th century "invention."

@Jerm Deeks: When you travel to a city, or part of a city, that you have never been to before it is convenient to use Google maps on your phone to figure out where you're going. Or even better, use a navi system.
