Czechoslovakians, huh?

last time my wife and i stayed in an airbnb i found a weird looking cable and traced it to behind a painting, the painting was screwed to the wall so i unscrewed it only to find out....it was an LED strip.  but for a second i was freaked.

i remember the first time i went to rural ohio. we crossed the border from west virginia, a place i’ve spent a lot of time and am pretty comfortable in, even the back hollers, and i remember thinking “damn we’re really in it now huh...”

fuckin ohio man.  as fucked up as florida, but not in an entertaining way.

theres no funding available to replicate studies

bears are hibernating now...and a cow is a bit beyond what they can take down anyway. though they love baby moose.  wolves are what she needs to worry about

aint no wilderness...shes in midtown anchorage!  gotta worry more about homeless camps than wolves

the quality of beer has gone way up, and even a very expensive beer is still low to mid tier wine.

save a nice sized bag and flip the rest.  less risk and much more reward than talking to cops.

one more reason to never speak to police

louisiana is fucked

i have an ATV with a plow.  its fun, and i get on everyones good side.  win win.

well we know you’re not in newfoundland because you’re not an hour and a half ahead

very good info.  we just got a costco in my town.  i’ve never been to one, but the parking lot has been at max capacity for the entire 2 months its been open.  must be something to it.

i go back and forth whether or not i would accept an invite to the WH, on the one hand, fuck that noise, on the other hand, how awesome would it be to call the trump a fat racist sack of shit to his face?

i always thought mangoes tasted itchy until one day i thought “oh, hey, maybe i’m slightly allergic to mangoes”

in alaska everybody is obsessed with this stuff called “kenai dip” - i finally got to try some and its just pimento cheese with pickled jalapenos instead of the red peppers.  what a rip off.  still good tho.

absolutely love it. with the struts and the slightly larger tires i’m getting about 2.5 - 3" of lift. Gearing off the line is a little slower but it feels like I actually have more mid range torque at passing speeds. the clearance and tires are great for snow and gravel roads here, and i still get over 25 mpg around

And yes, I’m in Alaska and we have ice on the roads from October to April, and also have lots of traffic circles. I’m sideways in this little thing every chance I get
