My dirty little secret...I ALSO have a 97 subi with the 2.2...impreza OBS with the 5 spd, got it lifted on forester struts, a/t tires...I use and abuse it and it just eats it up. Love that little car. It has about 155k and I’m gonna do timing belt, water pump, plugs, and clutch here pretty soon. For a couple years the

Yeah German cars are fun. My dad has an e30 and an e21 and he has trouble finding parts for both. My 81 f150 I can walk into any NAPA in Alaska and they have what I need.

i’d have to buy SO MUCH if i want it to last 6 months. but i’m a masochist who loves hot fresh american barleywines

the man saw an advertising opportunity and took it.  looked up “jackson kayak” and lo and behold, its owned by the guy in the video

i like all the people with subarus that say “oh its so reliable...i’ve only had to replace the head gaskets, water pump, and all 4 wheel bearings...and its got 120k miles!!”

came here for “itll run like shit longer than most cars will run at all” take

SNPA was my first beer I ever tried (my dad was an early craft beer guy) and is still a solid go-to. although i hated it that first time. Their celebration fresh hop IPA was first brewed in 1981 - thats astounding given the speed with which beer trends move these days, and its still fantastic.

bigfoot and old rasputin are GOATs of their respective categories.

dont quote me on this but i think its back? or at least something similar

110%

im no longer vegetarian, but t-bell was always the best about it.  after not eating fast food for 5ish years except very occasionally, i’ll go ahead and say it - they’re doing a hell of a job bringing me back.  quality seems to be going up across the board.

looks more like windblown and tracked up crust to me, but whatever.  the guy who had my job before me died in a rotor strike incident on snow, so i think its prudent to be cautious...

it might not be a problem, but it probably would be. and when you have a rotor strike things tend to turn very very bad very very quickly.

id be very nervous to be on or near that helicopter, even if i trusted the pilot.  i fly in little r44s and a-stars a LOT, but even so hot offloads still make me nervous

Though there is certainly much worthy debate on this topic I believe the current consensus is that both routes were used

theres many many many parts of this country where a pic holding a big buck gets you lots of attention.  and to liken hunting to drowning puppies is asinine. id rather kill and eat an animal that got to spend its whole life running free chilling in the woods, then died instantly, than a cow that fed antibiotics and

oh yes, i have played with grind in all these.  i have had a burr grinder for a long time.  i am interested in the metal filters for chemex, i hear they give a little more body to the brew.

even my chemex my coffee comes out thin.  i’ve gone from auto drip to french press to espresso to aeropress to chemex to nicer espresso...always find myself coming back to french press

yea but there were only 3 star war movies.  how many lame superhero movies are there now?

he looks 100% like what i was picturing
