very strange indeed. the 4 alaskan census areas include only about 30,000 people total, are all majority native alaskan, and none of them are connected to the road system, this is a pretty large expense to look after what, maybe 7500 voters total? i love the stuff, but it does get brittle in the cold.  i’ve had jb weld fixes break at -30 before, which is obviously the worst time for things to break.
