I’m gonna disagree with you. I always get decent carbonation, more than what you are describing, and my wifes been getting some home brewed kombucha from a friend of hers and it has more fizz than beer.

thats awesome that its good...i have been brewing kombucha and beer both for years, and it just clicked to me the other night that i should try a dry-hopped kombucha.

its my experience that you can get really good carbonation during secondary if you add a little ginger, fruit juice, or other sugar
