fair, i would never eat frozen shellfish. But I would rather eat salmon that was fileted and frozen within 24h than salmon that was just kept refrigerated for a few days.

i have a flash freeze setting on my chest freezer that i use, but i’m sure it doesnt work as well as mcdonald’s

you have killed me by linking to a NEW sade song and the song at the link has been taken down. I am dead now. bye.

my high school was also the Rebels, confederate soldier with dixie and everything. Still is, and although I no longer live in state, I haven’t heard a word about changing it.

bad time management. Start the thing that takes the longest (brown rice, lentils, etc), then finish cleaning.

because of the way i get my meat and fish, it is typically always frozen before i eat it, except for right around hunting or fishing season. I never have sat down and done a side by side comparison, but I don’t really notice a difference (unless its been frozen a long time). Is this really that big a deal to most

i tried to start typing one up but theres just too many. the memories keep flooding in. most of them involve too many people inside a van or too long of a drive without sleeping, but lots of energy drinks and cigarettes (among other things)

to troll liberals

these f35s are LOUD though. I live near an AFB, and in a flight path for a very busy local airport. Normal plane and jet noise does not bother me; but when f35s are flying over with afterburner its the only noise you can hear. Conversations are impossible, my dogs are going insane, it is annoying.

i think hes more in the NOT AT ALL camp, not the NIMBY camp.

so whats up with dive bars in SF having specials on shots of fernet? so weird

i attended a conference which involved staying in the hampton dorms and using their facilities, maybe 15 years ago. They were seriously bad then, much worse than any of the other colleges I have attended or visited since.

im not sure were AA is but i’m at ~700 feet above sea level.

where you get your beans can make a huge difference. I get them from our co-ops bulk bins, which have a high turnover rate, but if your bulk bins aren’t used as frequently, the beans in them can be quite old and that definitely can make them take a lot longer.

maybe i’m just spoiled then :) . Huckleberries...mmmmmm

this 20 year old kid is eating high quality, ethically sourced meat and likely providing for his family and friends with his ‘hobby’. just sayin.

do you eat meat
