My In-law lives in Irvine and just bought a Tesla so he could use the fast lane to and from work. He loves it. My cousin took a video of him 2 days ago while the car was parking itself. He’s owned it for 3 months and you can plainly see that he’s still enthralled with it.

They’re competing for vehicle sales. The entrenched auto industry probably figures he’s smart and dangerous so better squash him now rather than later. They probably can’t figure how a dumb-cluck who gives away patents can even be in business. They don’t understand him but he understands them and they know it.
