Never having seen the need o use one of these services, can someone explain why you want to? If I want restaurant quality food, I want it fresh and the service along with the price. And has this taken the place of traditional in-house order/delivery in various markets? Such as a pizza place, or Chinese that offers deli

My first thought was, “How much is this going to look like a disease-spreading game?” Frankly quite a bit.

Local Coop and grocery chain FTW?

Thank you for this post! We’ve been attending our local Burns Night Dinner for the past three years and the haggis is something that I for one, look forward do as it is a delicious meat-mush. Plus, haivng the 80+ year-old former judge recite the ode in Scots is a treat.

Dafaq is a breakfast potluck?

I’ve definitely tried but there was some missing elements and for the life of me I couldn’t figure it out.

I once had a beet sandwich that I wish the restaurant would bring back. Shaved, pan-fried beets, sliced Gorgonzola, caramelized red onions, on rye. Sounds crazy, tasted like delicious earth.

This is the way.

I look forward to your taste test of the oatmilk drink that is currently available only in the Midwest.

My understanding was that the Renfri storyline was pretty close to the books.  So I give that one a pass.  Yennefer’s though...yeeeeesh, that made me cringe.

According to Wiki “

In my area that is a well known “brand” of T&J batter that is made locally. The owner of the recipe has invited an org I am on the board for to assist in the making and tub-filling. Let me tell you, making this stuff in an industrial kitchen by the gallons is an experience.

I applaud this kitchen. If you have dietary restrictions and a place doesn’t normally have an option for those restrictions, don’t expect them to come up with something on the fly. Seems like this was a pretty well received joke!

I have nine days off over the holiday and this was just added to my “to-make-and-bake” list.

How is the sweetness and related, sugar content for each of these? My one experience with oat milk was that it was way too sweet and I’m cautious about overly sugary things.

I also like it because it is an easy prep-the-night-before kind of thing.

I find myself bringing some sort of crudités since my partner is a vegetarian and it ensures she has something to snack on. If it’s a potluck, enchiladas.

As I tell my wife every year: Both types have a place and how can you not enjoy the ridiculousness of the canned shape blob on the table.

Apparently I am an extreme outlier on this survey. I enjoy cranberry sauce and will have both homemade and canned on the table. I also cook the whole meal. I also am a millennial-man. Further, I would neither give up sex nor football to not cook a meal (and my wife would agree with those choices wholeheartedly.)

I now I want it to be Thanksgiving already AND I want all of this. Also corn pudding sounds divine...
