When my parents were alive, we all went to a multi-family pot luck Thanksgiving. Over the years, people have moved away, seperated, died. My mom died in August, so for the first time I am going by myself. I’m bringing my mom’s usual dish, a corn pudding. I am so grateful to be surrounded by close friends for tomorrow.
