Retired cop dad had a smile of recognition watching the "should I argue with you a bit?" routine, as he did during episode 1 seeing the one dude answer the phone with something like "can it wait for next shift?"

BECAUSE IT IS MY NAAAAAAAAAAME!

And it pissed him off and annoyed him something awful until he died.

"Pony Excess" is still my favorite 30 for 30. Hilariously, bizarrely rewatchable.

We already saw Dottie's ability to take a hit. That was BS giving into a crybaby stuff, lol.

Dottie totally dropped the ball on purpose.

Kwa-ki-sur-pi-PI-ku!

The Japanese game show sketch was one my friends and I loved. "MOTHER OF MERCY, I DON'T SPEAK JAPANESE!" still gets yelled from time to time.

No "Full Frontal" nom, now that's some boooooooolshit. Trevor Noah's irrelevant version of "The Daily Show" getting ignored, deserved.

2016 Emmy Nominee JUUUUUUICE? UNCLE JUUUUICE, SAY IT AIN'T SO! *lip quiver*

"The Americans" EEEEEEEEE…still no love for "Rectify" in the Drama field, as I'm pretty sure the Emmy people still don't know it exists, and "Show Me a Hero" got
shut out in the miniseries categories….but "The Americans" EEEEEEE!

I understand he's making that point, but bringing Gene Roddenberry's original writing of the character into it when Gene himself according to Takei acknowledged he couldn't write a gay character even if he wanted to back then…I don't know, it makes it weird to me.

If Gene acknowledged at the time that he couldn't possibly write a gay character due to restrictions of the day, doesn't that make the "conscious decision[s] to make Sulu heterosexual" point Takei's making moot?

I refuse to think anything good would happen with the teenage girl from "Homeland" in the lead role.

Happens sometimes. After The Winter Soldier came out, suddenly The First Avenger turned into a giant heaping pile of flaming dogshit whereas it had previously been a pretty good movie introducing its hero.

Seth's hilarity and Dean's best WWE promo deserved a lot more than a bullet point afterthought. I also didn't really see any comparison between the Final Deletion and the thing tonight other than they both took place outside and sucked.

C is a high grade for this…utterly terrible.

"Fringe" was so fucking good, and I still miss it. Clearly.

Marc with a c. Always play with their minds.

To be fair, the batshit insanity in Hardyworld is better than anything Reigns has done in years.
