I’ve dealt with Consumer Cellular as a carrier for my father, who is 76 and has Parkinson’s. It is a horrible company, bordering on a scam.

Their large-button phones have proprietary batteries, meaning that it is far easier to replace the phone - at full cost - if the battery dies. Which they do. Frequently.
