I think there’s a critical difference between waiting until you have all the facts and really baselessly speculating. There’s a little of both in here, and some in between.

I’m afraid it seems as if you’ve invited a lot of commenters here to simply speculate or say who they “hope” comes to light as a predator. (Which ... okay.) While some of the suggestions here have merit, others don’t.
