Problem is you’ve pulled the equivalent of an #alllivesmatter when people are talking about the death of this one woman.

This is a high profile attack on civilian targets in a place that typically does not see such slaughter. Bizarre, because minimizing their feelings is blatantly what you’re doing. I could understand committing to that and saying what you’re trying to get across matters more than whether you insult people doing it, but if you can’t even see how you’re insulting people, you should stop.
This is 2015. If you have events you want to discuss, do it. Blog it, Tweet it, go to Saturday Night Social. Find an appropriate venue and let your voice be heard to publicize what you think needs amplification.
If you thought that’s bad, Mizzou protesters got angry on twitter that the Paris attacks were stealing their spotlight. They criticized the media and audience alike for forgetting about them and not giving them equal attention, and stated that their situation was equal in tragedy to the one in Paris.
We mourn everyone. Ok, asshole? I am so sick of the constant complaints about how we shouldn’t discuss Americans or the Paris attack because we haven’t discussed every goddamn horror that happens in this world at length. Give it a goddamn rest.
