Well , don’t doubt it, though. I know there are some old IMSA teams (Realtime Racing being one of them) that’s be happy with going into the top IMSA series. Whether it is DPi/LMP2, GTD or PWC, I can totally see this going down.

And Cadillac’s going to be competing in the Prototype class. No customer cars, but presumably factory teams in two classes from two brands.

GM is shitty when it comes to that stuff. There won’t be any customer ATS-V.R’s(just like there technically wasn’t any Z/28.R’s), and it won’t race outside of PWC because GM doesn’t want any competition in the US between GT classes. Same reason you can’t buy and race a Callaway C7 or Reiter Camaro in America.

Last I checked both IMSA and PWC are on the FIA GT3 spec, so this and the ATS-V.R are just a few wrenching and BoP-ing away from Blancpain and other series.
