Same. To think that in 2017, the DPi formula gets support from 3 initial manufacturers with the potential option for one more mid-season or up to two by 2018 is impressive as hell by today’s standards for LMPs, and it offers a decent amount of freedom and diversity that’s relatively cost capped for teams. It makes me

The class needs to open back up and privateers should be given a greater opportunity to compete overall with the hybrids. Rebellion saw the futility of trying to run LMP1 against regulations that made it impossible to really even race anyone, except for themselves and ByKolles which from what I understand hasn’t

You’d think by now that maybe having a republic would resonate with people as not being a great idea when they inevitably seem to become the empire of a mad man.

I raise you a red Prius for His Unholiness.

Tesla Driver: “Think you can catch me?”

“NO LOW-BALLERS. I KNOW WHAT I HAVE!”

Well look on the bright side, you can’t take the doors or top off this Jeep, but you could do a global-spec grille swap...

I’m in Canada and IMSA certainly has a greater presence in coming to Mosport, even for one round, than the WEC does for a race in Austin. I know of it, enjoy it, and know how to watch it, but everyone else I tend to come across seems few and far between, even if they’re casually into racing, their interests seem to

Imagine the Sat-Nav system giving you directions in Ronspeak....

You say lazy and I look at that and think Lee Iacocca levels of genius, because even if every engine and tub are the same, it helps them effectively sell cars at the end of the day.

Agreed. Especially when we consider the fact that a: the white (also reflective) vinyls that distinctly say the word “POLICE” on the sides, nose, and rear, of the vehicle actually reflect light on a against a dark contrast, making it stand out and b: that there is an aerodynamic anomaly on the roof called a light bar.

That’s a great point to make, but the fact that the GT3 spec’d Viper is dead, GM won’t let privateers run a GTLM car stateside, nor a GT3 Caddy anywhere but in PWC, and the Camaro and Corvette iterations from both Reiter and Callaway have pretty much had any hope of racing an American GT car stateside extinguished.

We need more of this.

Ha! That trailer had a Russian Radial, classic.

It wants to be the very best,
