I love the roof flaps! I don't think the people who drafted the specs up for the car ever saw this coming. On the positive side, we'll probably only see the limits set for this year.

You said it perfectly.
There's no capability to design new aero parts before this year's race. That's not factoring in team budgets either. The solution they have works and it should allow the race to run without incident in the affected area. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see the cars go flat out. But they have to make do with the given…
Okay sure, there's one safety precaution. But you're still ignoring a fundamental flaw in the car's aerodynamics that cause for them to lift off the track. So in essence the problem without the speed limits would be the exact same minus a dead spectator. Where's the logic in letting cars uncontrollably wreck…
So we get to hoon the shit out of that in Forza 6 right?
Where the fans go means nothing when a GT3 car can catch air like that on a crest. You can't have a race nor can you push the limits when the cars become airplanes and start flying off the track.
So this is what it’s like when you chew 5
They can’t replace that little boy’s life with $150 million, but they can stab back at the company whose ignorance took it away by winning as much. I think that’s the principle being used in this case.
Yeah, the GT3s were running faster than the first LMP3s running their test too! Hopefully the 2017 LMP2 regs make a significant gap that will let GTE grow quicker in lap times.
I do too, regardless of my remark. It has a charm in it’s new look, its just that extra grille under the hood line that kills me right now but I’ll get over it.
I like it, buy if you think it’s too much maybe they could donate a little of that aggression to Chevrolet so they can make the Malibu look a little less like a mouth-breather.
I see now, my bad. I read differently that the fan was where they were supposed to be at the time of the crash. I don't believe the fan did anything wrong on their end, the fence just simply failed.
Absolutely, I'm just being fickle on the different parts of the regs I guess.
The track isn't necessarily the problem though, although all racetracks should have an overflow of safety measures for racers, crew, and spectators alike. The fact that a GT3 car can catch air like that on a crest is the issue. There are numerous tracks where these cars race where going airborne like that can be a…
And are certainly heavier to some regard as well.
Want.
I disagree on the part of model designation, because it can be made sense of for the 911 and Cayman to some regard when you look at homologation specials. Take the 911 GT1 Straßenversion or the McLaren F1 Long-tail for examples as the street models of true race cars.
Love the side profile.
GT5 is sort of redundant though.
Probably not, but I hear Bentley is planning on bitching about how another company plans on building a full-size luxury car.
