Eh, not totally sure on that answer. Future liability had never crossed my mind when evaluating if a claim is a total or not. Future phone calls and headaches about repairs have though.

i work in claims. A small non standard branch of a large insurance company. I've already had probably 7 claims involving new corvettes. 3 were total losses. We use COPART. All of my corvette claims involved running off the road. I'd be leary to buy one that ran off the road.
The car in my avatar has bee quite the PIA. 2 coil packs months apart. Standard VW. High pressure fuel pump. And now I've just had to put a remmanufactured engine in it @ 66k miles due to an oil pick up issue. Riding it out to 100k then trading for another German (hopefully not) POS.
Does this video have sound?
I dont understand how he witnesses all of this. A lot of police interaction too. Plus people yelling, cursing, spitting, and brake checking him. I can't help but feel he is somehow enticing people.
You got a philly connect? (:
Is this Glendora mountain Ed? GMR?
Great even the gas pumping videos have the same sound as GTR street race videos.
I work in claims. We try to move vehicles that are obvious totals to COPART as quick as possible to avoid storage etc. I always ask if the owner would be interested in owner retained salvage. If they are, they are responsible for any further tows/storage. If by chance we move the car, THEN they start asking about…
He is like most consumers, ignorant. I am sure the car has a user manual, which explains the above scenario. And whether the car had run flats. Hell the tires probably explain that on the sidewall. And if it did have a spare, it would probably be low on air, as it had never been checked.
+1 on learning not to wash my chicken. Never did that in the past but good to know not to. I'm torn on these services. Would love to try BA but I'm single so Id be getting 3 meals / 6 servings a week. There wouldn't be much variety at that point. also, I wouldn't call myself picky but not a huge fan of cheese and…
Lol I was thinking the same thing. I was also under the impress mk7 had LED tails. I personally own a mk6. Want the LEDs but $700+ is crazy.
I am still confused on the section of the city you live in and you car choices. Did you have the Ferrari in philly?
Who's mr. Regular? Will he be at Ceolta's? Sawyers?
You seriously live in that hipster neighborhood? I live about 20 minutes away. Do you attend any local meet ups?
F1 is a weird crazy unique sport. So absurd sometimes. I love it.
Was that pre inspection shop in philly? I live in DelCo. Currently looking for an unusual car as well. They all appear to be shit.
Must be a claims rep. If so your username fits. It's my profession as well (hopefully not much longer!)
Who dressed the host? Terrible fitting shirt. Reminds me of Seinfeld's puffy shirt.
If it kills stance, I'm all for it.
